Guidelines for the Authors

The following sequence should be followed:

For Hard Copy

  1. The article should not exceed 8000 words.
  2. Title page: should show the title of the paper, name(s) of author(s), affiliation(s), full correspondence address (es), telephone & fax numbers, and e-mail.
  3. Page one: should include the title, abstract (not exceed 200 words) and a maximum of five key words.
  4. Text pages: should be divided in to introduction, data and methods, results (discussion) and conclusion (suggestions). Matter should be typed in double-spaced - 11 pt. and Times New Roman.
  5. Space between paragraphs ‘6points before only’, with first line indentation of 0.63cm
  6. Harvard style should be used for references
  7. Reference style to be used is as follows:

Koopman S. J., Shephard N., and D. Creal., (2009), “Testing the Assumptions Behind Importance Sampling”, Journal of Econometrics, vol. 149, no. 1, pp 2-11.

Lee J. and M. Tang, (2007), “Does Productivity Growth Appreciate the Real Exchange Rate?”, Review of International Economics, vol.15, no.1, pp 164-187.

  1. Tables, Charts and Graphs should be on separate pages and given a concise title numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals as referred to in the text.
  2. Tables, graphs, pictures should have flexibility to edit. Black and white pictures are preferred.

For Soft Copy

1. Page should be set breadth 18cm, height 24cm, LM 2.5cm, RM 2cm, Top 2cm, bottom 2cm

2. All tables and charts should be adjustable in page.

3. All pictures and  charts should be grey in colour.

Articles should be sent in hard copy and also by e-mail or on CD in   Ms-word format to the following address:
