Student Learning With Technology From an Instructional Economic Perspective: A Case Study

Abstract


The current study employed two case studies, which were conducted in Taiwan, to explain the benefits of old technologies from an instructional economic perspective. The findings yielded from two case studies showed that old (inexpensive investment) and new technology (expensive investment) could equally enhance students’ learning performances. Instructors may re-think the value of old technologies at classrooms based on economic theories.
