Agriculture forms the backbone of economies worldwide, offering food, employment, and income to a significant
population segment, especially in developing countries like India. This study investigates the relationship between
population size, employment dynamics within the agricultural sector, and agriculture’s contribution to GDP. By analyzing key variables—including population figures, gender-segregated employment in agriculture, and the sector’s
economic value—this research seeks to uncover significant correlations that can inform policy and development
strategies. The findings offer insights into how demographic and employment factors drive agricultural productivity
and value, emphasizing the roles of gender and population dynamics. These results have implications for policy development aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity and supporting sustainable employment practices within this
essential sector
