Impact of Information Technology on Indian Banking Services

Abstract

This research paper focuses on benefits of E-banking services. In today’s modern times IT has
introduced new business paradigms in improving the services in the banking industry. One of the
important and significant part of Information technology is Mobile Banking. This study examines the
impact of information technology on public sector banks. The role of RBI in providing IT facilities to
Indian banking is also elaborate in this study.
This study concludes that banking is growing rapidly with the use of technology in the ATM,
mobile banking, online banking etc. There is a need to implement IT and other cyber laws properly.
