Mr. Gopala B is a Lecturer at Vijayanagara College, Hospet, and a part-time Ph.D. Research Scholar in Management, specializing in Finance and Accounting, at the Alliance School of Business, Alliance University, Bengaluru. His doctoral research focuses on “Adoption of FinTech in the BFSI Sector: A Study of Critical Success Factors.” He is K-SET qualified in Commerce and has also cleared the Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test four times.

His research interests include FinTech adoption, financial inclusion, digital transformation, responsible financial innovation, sustainable finance, trust in digital financial services, AI applications in business and finance, regulatory fairness, and digital governance. His work examines how emerging technologies are transforming financial services and how FinTech can support financial access, responsible innovation, and sustainable development.

Mr. Gopala has an active research profile involving conference presentations, publications, book chapters, and interdisciplinary research. His work covers FinTech-enabled financial inclusion, sustainable finance, AI and blockchain in financial management, digital transformation, financial risk governance, sustainable entrepreneurship and responsible investment. His research also addresses emerging themes such as FinTech-enabled social protection, climate-related financial inclusion, digital trust, and inclusive financial development.

His research contributions have received recognition at national and international academic conferences. He has received First Place Best Research Paper Awards: 1. NCATM 2026 for “Inclusive Agri FinTech: Bridging the Credit and Insurance Gap for Farmers,” 2. IFMC 2025 for “Finance and Sustainability: A Framework for Responsible Investment,” 3. WMC 2025 for “A New Era of Risk Governance, Resilience Strategies for Financial Institutions,” and 4. the International Conference on Pathways to Viksit Bharat 2047 for “From Adoption to Impact: FinTech-Led Financial Inclusion in India Towards Viksit Bharat 2047.” He also received Third Place in the Best Research Paper category at the STT-ICHM 2025 Conference.

His scholarly contributions include published research and book chapters on AI, FinTech, e-commerce, digital transformation, and sustainable business practices. His research has been presented at academic forums involving institutions such as IIM Calcutta, Symbiosis Deemed University, Amity University, and Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna. He has also contributed as a peer reviewer for the FOS-GRIE 2026 Conference.

Alongside research, Mr. Gopala has experience in higher education, teaching, training, and academic administration. His teaching experience includes subjects such as training and development, rural marketing, basic mathematics, statistics, and accountancy. His research competencies include SPSS, survey design, literature review, quantitative research, and qualitative research. He has also authored “Teaching with Tough Love” and “Digital Deshanthara,” a Kannada fiction storybook.

As an Academic Fellow of the Research Centre for Social Sciences (RCSS), Mr. Gopala looks forward to contributing to collaborative research, academic publications, conferences, seminars, workshops, and research training. He is particularly interested in contributing to RCSS initiatives in FinTech, financial inclusion, digital financial services, responsible innovation, sustainable finance, digital trust, AI applications in finance, and technology-enabled inclusive development, with particular relevance to India and emerging economies.
