Journal of Global Economy adheres to COPE guidelines regarding the use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney), ensuring transparency and accountability in scholarly publishing. This policy applies to all authors, reviewers, and editors.
2. Authorship and Accountability
- AI is not an Author: GenAI tools cannot meet authorship criteria as they cannot take responsibility for work.
- Author Responsibility: Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy and integrity of their work, including AI-assisted content.
- Human Oversight: All AI-generated content must be thoroughly reviewed and verified by human authors.

3. Permissible Uses and Disclosure
Authors may use AI for language polishing, brainstorming, or data visualization, provided they fully disclose the tool, the purpose, and the specific sections impacted.

4. Prohibited Uses
